Why we love it: Riverside views + Iconic London attraction

Located at the iconic Shakespeare’s Globe, Swan is a beautiful Bar and Restaurant set over two floors, with stunning view of the Thames and St Paul’s. The venue also host brilliant private dining, parties, weddings and corporate events from the informal and intimate, to the spectacular and glamorous.

Bright and airy with large French windows, their Balcony Room provides an elegant space for daytime meetings to evening dinners and receptions. The space is also licensed for wedding ceremonies, offering incredible panoramic river views. Adjacent to the restaurant are a number of smaller rooms perfect for private dining – the Bull Room and River room can accommodate 8 – 40 guests.

Situated directly beneath the Globe Theatre with a dedicated riverside entrance, lies the Underglobe. By day it serves as the Globe’s Shakespeare exhibition; by night it is transformed into a dedicated events venue, perfect for awards ceremonies, large weddings and gala dinners. The space includes a private mezzanine for arrival drinks, a sweeping staircase and high ceilings and can host up to 350 seated or 450 standing.
