Located in Blackfriars right behind the Tate Modern, and in walking distance to Waterloo and London Bridge Station, the New Yorker Gallery with its 1,787 sq footage and its avant garde style, is the ideal location for corporate events, meetings, exhibitions, receptions and film, TV and photoshoots. Ever wondered what it might feel like to be in a creative New York Loft? Well, wait no longer, and come and experience it right behind the world’s most popular modern art museum.
Lumiere London’s New Yorker Gallery was founded by acclaimed fashion photographer Carlos Lumiere. Having lived in New York, Paris, Milan, Miami, Madrid and Hamburg, Carlos worked for clients and magazines such as ELLE, Harper’s Bazaar, Cacharel, Vivienne Westwood, Longines, Royal Ascot, Christian Lacroix and Dunhill. Carlos is Lumiere London’s flagship creative visionary and responsible for each studio’s look and style.
At Lumiere London, we work actively to maintain a strong ethical core within our business, our community and what is essentially our family. We continue our aspirations to be sustainable and support local charities and young and aspiring artists.
Our team is made up of a wide range of creative people, brought together by their ability, energy and passion. They are the beating heart of Lumiere London and the reason why we won Best Venue Team of the Year 2018 and received numerous nominations, including Best Venue for Employing Women and Gender Equality.
The New Yorker Gallery holds a special place in my heart and mind!
